Consumers should avoid products containing Glucosamine Sulfate NaCL (or KCI), or if the ingredients list says "potassium", "salt" or "sodium" after the sulfate.
Another type of Glucosamine that should be avoided is NAG (N-Acetylglucosamine or N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine), it is relatively ineffective and can be costly. Try to steer clear of products with those markings.
If it does not simply state, Glucosamine Sulfate or Glucosamine HCL, you are getting an inferior product.

Just because you can purchase a cheaper brand for $2.99 per bottle does not mean you are getting more for your money. Remember; the less active amounts of Glucosamine you get, the slower your pain relief will be. And, inferior products will not give you the relief you expect at the established dosages.
VitaPurity is concerned that some manufacturers are "watering down" and/or providing inferior grade Glucosamine products and marketing them as similar to the ones used in published clinical studies.
VITAPURITY VIGOROUSLY OPPOSES THE USE OF SYNTHETIC, ARTIFICIAL IMITATION, OR GENETICALLY MODIFIED SUBSTANCES IN THE MANUFACTURING OF HEALTH AND NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS.
There are several brands of vitamins containing inferior, low-grade or "watered down" Glucosamine. VitaPurity recommends that you carefully read vitamin labels and/or any documentation associated with Glucosamine products before making your purchase.
NOTE: VitaPurity Joint Recovery FormulaTM capsules are ALL-NATURAL and contain 100% pure Glucosamine Sulfate, Glucosamine HCL and Chondroitin Sulfate.
VitaPurity DOES NOT Use Synthetics.
